Description

PUMA white hunter – Version with buffalo horn
The model "white hunter" is an ultimate classic with decades of proven universal blade for the highest demands – Handmade in Solingen.
Developed in 1956 for the East African Hunting Organization EAPHA, the PUMA "white hunter" quickly became known worldwide as the ultimate outdoor knife and is now considered an extremely popular classic. Its blade shape is meticulously thought out and effortlessly meets all conceivable requirements.
The stable tip is robust enough to open cans or pry off bottle caps. In the middle of the blade's spine, there is a chisel edge ground, which is used for rough tasks, such as splitting firewood or breaking down bones. Additionally, the blade has a practical sawtooth in the rear area of the edge to cut green branches, fish skin, or similar materials with a firm surface.
The model in this classic version is equipped with selected buffalo horn scales, which are firmly riveted with the full tang going through the handle. With all these attributes, the original "white hunter" is an innovative knife that still has no equal today.
Another highlight of the white hunter buffalo version is the beautiful laser engraving on the blade. The knives are sequentially numbered. The numbers are assigned based on the order of receipt. Therefore, selecting a specific number is not possible.

Since we process natural products, optical deviations between the knife image and the original are possible.
Buffalo horn is a unique material that is predominantly dark brown in color but can also exhibit white and gray structures, with mineralization being crucial for the coloring. The grain also varies between animals and can reveal new structures through the processing of deeper layers. It can be worked similarly to wood – by carving, sawing, sanding, and polishing.
