PUMA IP set of 3: santoku and pairing set

The kitchen knives from the PUMA IP series originate from a design by the German knife maker and author Ernst Siebeneicher-Hellwig and combine high Japanese blade quality with the advantages of modern design. Each individual piece is crafted with the utmost care from the finest materials. The blade features 67 layers of stainless steel, with the core made of Japanese V-Gold No.10 High Carbon Stainless Steel (VG10). This is a very hard and edge-retaining knife steel. The layers on the VG10 core consist of 33 layers on each side, alternating between the Japanese steels SUS 430 and SUS 431. The blade is ice-hardened to about 60 HRC and is characterized by excellent edge retention, keeping the knife sharp for a long time. The handle is made from warp-resistant Pakkawood. Due to these properties and the high quality of workmanship, each knife is perfectly suited for all cutting tasks in the kitchen. Additionally, the functional handle-blade design supports the comfortable handling of all PUMA IP kitchen knives. To ensure you enjoy it for as long as possible, always store the high-quality cutting tool in a knife holder or in the packaging and please pay attention to the care instructions that we include with each piece.
