PUMA soos tactical

This tactical folder manufactured in Solingen was specifically designed for the tough use of military and police special forces. Practical design and reliable technology offer a maximum level of functionality, making the PUMA soos tactical the perfect tactical deployment knife! In collaboration with the internationally renowned close combat expert Paul Soos and designer Heinz-Peter Knoop, as well as the support of army and police specialists, this project was successfully implemented. The black, asymmetrical mid-point blade made of 440 high-performance steel was developed using the latest technological insights to achieve perfect piercing and cutting ability. The blade, which curves inward in the rear area (recurve) with partial serration, is suitable for cutting through tough materials, ropes, etc. The hollow grind, the upper hand guard, and the pin for left or right-handed opening optimize the application and usability of this tactical knife.
The black aluminum handle is ergonomically shaped and equipped with grooves at the ends to ensure optimal grip and control forces. The extended blade spine in the handle allows for maximum shock resistance and stability, close to that of a fixed knife. The backlock closing mechanism with additional safety allows for a safer closing of the blade. Innovative is the use of generously sized dual-sided clips (removable), which optimize the ergonomics in the grip core of the hand - and thus also the hold. A hardened glass breaker, which is also well-suited for self-defense (in both open and closed states), enhances the deployment knife as a rescue tool.
Closing the knife in two ways:
1. One briefly presses the spring lever, causing the blade to reach a quarter-closed position. By pressing further, the blade can be fully folded (safe closing).
2. One holds the spring lever down and closes in a swing.
