This oil is essential for sharpening on an Arkansas oil stone, as the stones must not be used with water or dry. Use only properly with an oil stone! A few drops on the sharpening stone are sufficient. IMPORTANT: ARKANSAS OIL STONES MAY ONLY BE USED WITH A SHARPENING OIL! DO NOT USE DRY OR WITH WATER!
