The PUMA "saubart" offers the user many advantages through the following features:
The blade material used is stainless Sandvik steel 14C28N, which achieves a Rockwell hardness of 60-62 HRC, giving the knife high edge retention. The new blade shape, previously tested by hunters, allows for the use of the entire cutting surface. Additionally, the spine of the blade is equipped with a ground bevel. With a blade length of 100 mm and a thickness of 3 mm, the knife is compact and allows for practical handling. Thanks to the full tang construction, the "saubart" is also very stable. For the handle scales, Pakkawood has been chosen. This laminated and hardened material is very durable and warp-free at the same time. Thanks to the pronounced finger grooves combined with the robust bolster made of nickel silver, a secure grip is achieved when working with this high-quality PUMA knife. For safe carrying and transport, a black saddle leather sheath is included.
