PUMA stag knife

The model "hirschfänger" is a traditional hunting blank weapon in practical and modern design – by PUMA Solingen. The history of our Solingen company has been closely linked to the development and manufacture of traditional hirschfänger since the 19th century. From the first model from 1876, through the blank weapon created under the direction of Oswald von Frankenberg and Ludwigsdorf in 1960, to the famous hirschfänger after Ferdinand von Raesfeld, which was added to the range in 2003, the history of this blank hunting weapon at PUMA culminates in the present model "hirschfänger". The blade of this robust weapon, which is sharpened on one side and features a double hollow grind, is 240 mm long and 5 mm thick. The handle has a symmetrical design and is fitted with stag horn scales. The horn has been processed in such a way that it allows for an optimal grip. The bolster connecting the handle to the blade is designed as a classic crossguard and, like the rear pommel, is made of nickel silver. The PUMA "hirschfänger" thus belongs to the latest generation of hunting blank weapons.

Since we process natural products, optical deviations between the knife image and the originals are possible.
