The Optilock scope mounting set consists of a base and rings and is made from solid steel, Cr-Mo alloy, or stainless steel, just like your Sako or Tikka firearm.
The inner ring that holds the scope is made from polymer material and serves as a ball bearing to avoid incorrect tension or scratches.
The base part of the mount fits perfectly into the integrated rails on top of the box on Sako and Tikka firearms. With the screws on the base part, you can also adjust the lateral position of the scope.
