Maximtac IR-850 Gen 2 – Long-Range IR Illuminator

The Maximtac IR-850 Gen.2 is a powerful, focusable IR illuminator for digital night vision devices. The 850 nm wavelength provides a significantly greater range than integrated IR emitters in many devices and is particularly suitable for field edges, clearings, and other distances.

Using the silent end switch, three practical brightness levels can be switched from 50 to 100 percent. Thanks to the memory function, the illuminator always starts in the last used level. The lowest level has been deliberately set to 50 percent, making it practically usable.

The round, even light spot fits well within the field of view of scopes and night vision attachments. Even at maximum focus, no disturbing grid effect occurs. Focused, the IR-850 Gen.2 achieves a range of up to about 350 meters.

The compact housing is shockproof, recoil-resistant, and splash-proof. The illuminator is powered by a 18650 battery. It is suitable for digital night vision devices from Sytong, Pard, and comparable systems.
