Pixfra Draco D335-4K LRF – Multispectral Binoculars for Safe Observation at a Distance
The Pixfra Draco D335-4K LRF is a versatile multispectral binocular for hunting, fieldwork, and nighttime observation. It combines powerful thermal imaging technology, 4K digital night vision, a laser rangefinder, and IR illumination in a binocular system. Despite the extensive technology, the device remains balanced, grippy, and comfortable to use even during longer sessions.
Sensor & Range
In thermal imaging, a 384 × 288 VOx sensor with a high thermal sensitivity of NETD < 15 mK operates. Fine temperature differences are clearly distinguished, even in humid weather or low contrast. In conjunction with the 35 mm germanium optics, the Draco achieves a detection range of up to 1,800 m, making it suitable for field edges, clearings, and more open areas.
Image Representation & Stability
The image is displayed on a 0.49″ OLED screen with 1920 × 1080 pixels. Supported by PIPS 3.0, electronic image stabilization (EIS), and a defog function, the representation remains steady, high-contrast, and responsive – even in fog, wind, or changing temperatures.
Magnification & Field of View
The base magnification of 3.8× is well-suited for structured areas and medium distances. Digitally, it can be magnified up to 30.4×. With a thermal field of view of 13.7 m at 100 m, the overview is maintained without losing details.
Night Vision, Distance Measurement & IR Support
The thermal image is complemented by a 4K UHD night vision camera that reveals fine structures in low residual light. The integrated laser rangefinder up to 1,000 m aids in accurate distance estimation. For complete darkness, a detachable IR illuminator with 940 nm is available.
Operation & Practice
Control is via a multifunction wheel and four clearly separated buttons. The layout is designed for blind operation and remains easily controllable even with gloves. A menu memory function remembers the last used position, saving time in the field. Photos and videos are stored in the 64 GB internal memory and can be transmitted via dual-band Wi-Fi.
Power Supply & Construction
The robust magnesium housing is protected against dust and water according to IP67. Power is supplied by two 18650 batteries, and operation with just one battery is also possible. The runtime of about 8 hours reliably covers longer nights. Charging is flexible via power adapter, power bank, or charging dock.
