Hikmicro thermal imaging device Lynx LH15 3.0

HIKMICRO Lynx LH15 3.0 – compact thermal imaging monocular with strong detail recognition

The HIKMICRO Lynx LH15 3.0 is a handy thermal imaging monocular for safe observation at short to medium distances. It is aimed at users looking for a reliable device with clear image representation and easy operation in the field, during stalking, or on control rounds.

Sensor and thermal image representation
Inside, a VOx sensor with 384 × 288 pixels and a NETD of less than 20 mK works. This makes even fine temperature differences clearly visible, such as animal bodies in dense vegetation or in humid weather. The image frequency of 50 Hz ensures a stable, smooth image without trailing.

Optics and range
The 15 mm F1.0 lens offers a wide field of view and is particularly suitable for forest areas, clearings, and short to medium distances. The detection range is up to 750 m. The base magnification of 1.4× appears natural, and the image can be digitally magnified up to 11.2×.

Display and image processing
The integrated 0.39-inch AMOLED display with 1024 × 768 pixels clearly represents contrasts and remains comfortable for the eyes even during prolonged use. The display is supported by Image Pro 3.0 and the HIKMICRO Shutterless Imaging System (HSIS), which significantly reduces image interruptions.

Operation, housing, and power supply
The Lynx LH15 3.0 is compactly built and fits securely in the hand. The robust housing according to IP67 protects against dust, rain, and temporary immersion. Power is supplied by a replaceable 18650 battery with a runtime of up to 6 hours at moderate temperatures. It is charged directly in the device via USB-C.

Recording and connectivity
Photos, videos, and audio recordings can be stored in the 64 GB internal memory. Data can be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone via Wi-Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz) and managed through the app.
