ThermTec Wild 635L – Thermal Imaging Handheld Device with Integrated Laser Rangefinder

The ThermTec Wild 635L expands the proven Wild series with a compact integrated laser rangefinder. Especially in unfamiliar territories or at changing distances, this combination provides a real practical advantage. Heat sources can not only be safely detected but also directly assessed in their distance without having to set the device down.

Sensor and Image Quality
The heart of the Wild 635L is the 640 × 512 sensor with a NETD ≤ 18 mK. It responds even to minimal temperature differences and clearly delineates wildlife even in rain, fog, or low contrast. The 35 mm lens with high light intensity (F0.8) supports clean detail representation at greater distances.

LRF Boost and Distance Measurement
The integrated laser rangefinder operates with LRF-Boost technology. In conjunction with AI-supported distance measurement, multiple targets can be captured simultaneously. Distances are measured precisely up to 1,000 m, with an accuracy of ± 1 m. This significantly facilitates assessment, planning, and decision-making in the field.

Operation and Ergonomics
The Wild 635L is consistently designed for one-handed operation. The finger wheel focus and joystick control are easily accessible, whether left- or right-handed. Operation remains calm and intuitive, even with gloves or during longer observations.

Image Stability and AI Calibration
The self-learning AI image correction continuously adapts to the environment and weather. After each calibration, the image remains stable for up to one hour without disruptive interruptions. This ensures more relaxed observation, especially during longer sits.

Housing, Power, and Practicality
The magnesium alloy housing combines stability with low weight. A rubberized surface protects against scratches and provides a secure grip. The replaceable 18650 battery allows for up to 8 hours of runtime and can be quickly swapped. Through the ThermTec Outdoor App, recordings can be shared, settings adjusted, and firmware updates performed.
