Our assessment The ME Mod. 1911 gas pistol is securely packaged in a black plastic case. The signal pistol itself comes with a cleaning brush, the launch cup, and the compensator. Among us sport shooters, the 1911 is always something special. To some extent, even a sacred object, if one may put it that way. Therefore, we were immediately thrilled when we opened the gun case. The first impression was truly overwhelming. One does not think that a blank-firing pistol lies before them. Rather, one thinks of the sharp original. All controls have been very well replicated. Even the palm safety has been visually adopted. We consider its lack of function to be secondary. The grip has been shaped so that the fingers of the shooting hand find a secure hold. Overall, the handling corresponds to the original. The workmanship appears to be very good. The slide, which is made of zinc die-cast, has been produced cleanly. The finish also looks very even and consistent. Furthermore, we could not detect any significant play in the components.
