It has been specifically developed for the shooting sports disciplines of trap, skeet, parcours, and hunting. All components have been optimized in collaboration with successful sports shooters from the DSB, which is evident in their breaking power and shot pattern.
The rear of the Rottweil Gold 24 HV Sport cartridge has shock-absorbing properties, which, together with the evenly burning soft-recoil powder, results in reduced recoil. The lead shot has a grain size of 2.2 mm and a 24 g load. It is reliably ignited with a sinoxid primer.
