DESOLVE® Veil Camouflage is about so much more than just mimicking patterns and colors in the environment. The problem with many existing camouflages is that they have far too little contrast. From a distance, the pattern merges into a single color, making you visible to the animal. With DESOLVE®, they were inspired instead by how animals camouflage themselves against each other, such as tigers and leopards. The colors resemble those of the environment, but instead of having branches and leaves on their bodies, as is often the case with human camouflage, these animals have patterns in black that create a strong contrast to the base color of their fur. With the help of these patterns, the body shape is broken up, allowing these predators to approach their prey unnoticed. DESOLVE® works in the same way.
