Nordik Bear Whistle

The Nordik Bear was specifically designed to attract bears and other predators in areas where there are many moose, such as under Nordic conditions. The whistle mimics the distress call of a moose calf, which attracts both predators and moose cows. WARNING! Bait hunting for large predators is done at your own risk! We recommend that two hunters sit back to back so they can oversee the entire surroundings from all directions, or alternatively attract from a hunting tower. Quick guide: Pull out the tube, place the barrel to your mouth, and blow. Blow for about a minute in alternating long and short bursts, take a two to three-minute break, and continue for one to two hours per session. The bear usually only runs away when it hears the calf screaming, so attract for long periods during each session! The best results are achieved by not blowing saliva into the mouthpiece and by opening and closing your hands in front of the barrel to create a more natural sound.
