ACME whistle orange 211.5

The ACME whistles are frequency standardized and therefore guarantee an identical tone for whistles with the same number. The whistles are available in both sizes, 210.5 and 211.5. Acme 210.5 has a higher (brighter) tone. This means that it does not carry as far in the wind. It is therefore best suited for Spaniels that work close to the handler, where the distances are not so great. Acme 211.5 has a deeper (darker) tone. This means that it carries further in windy weather. This is best suited for Retrievers, as they may work at distances of up to several hundred meters. It is often the case that Spaniels and Retrievers are used in the same hunts, so it is good if the whistles do not disturb each other's dogs. This may be a reason why the breeds "stick" to a certain type of whistle. The whistles are of course suitable for all types of dogs. Material: Plastic Length: 8 cm
