The ThermTec Cyclone 315 combines modern thermal technology with maximum portability. Weighing only 250–255 g, it fits easily into any jacket pocket while still delivering impressive performance. At the heart of the device is a highly efficient 12 µm VOx sensor with a resolution of 384 × 288 pixels, providing sharp image data even in fog, rain, and high humidity. The excellent temperature sensitivity of < 20 mK NETD ensures that even the smallest temperature differences remain visible.

Strong range & clear representation
Thanks to the 15-mm-F1.0 optics, the ThermTec Cyclone 315 detects heat sources up to 750 m away. For image display, ThermTec relies on a high-contrast AMOLED display with 1024 × 768 pixels, which operates reliably even in winter temperatures. The optical magnification of 1.4× combined with a digital zoom of up to 4× allows for precise observations at short and medium distances.

Replaceable battery for up to 20 hours of operating time
The Cyclone series is designed for long operations: The practical replaceable battery system with 18650 batteries allows for up to 10 hours of runtime per battery. Since a second battery is included, a total operating time of up to 20 hours is available – ideal for night hunts, searches, and long patrols.

Intelligent AI functions
The ThermTec Cyclone 315 stands out from many devices in its class with modern AI features. The integrated object and distance recognition automatically identifies up to six objects and provides a reliable distance estimate. This is complemented by hot-spot tracking and various image modes to optimize contrast, sharpness, and brightness.

Flexible operation & extensive palettes
Six color palettes – including White-Hot, Black-Hot, Green-Hot, Red-Hot, Purple-Hot, and Gold-Hot – allow for flexible adaptation to any application scenario. The display can also be finely adjusted over several levels regarding sensor and display brightness.

App control, video recording & robust construction
Via WiFi, the device can be directly connected to the ThermTec app to transmit live images or change settings. The internal 32-GB storage unit allows for photo and video recordings without additional equipment. With an IP67 protection class, the Cyclone 315 is completely dust and waterproof, making it perfect for demanding outdoor applications.
