The Ruger GP100 is a high-quality, robustly constructed revolver from the American firearms manufacturer Sturm, Ruger & Co., known for its extraordinary durability, precision, and reliability. It was first introduced in 1985 and is designed as an evolution of the Ruger Security-Six.

The revolver can also fire the less powerful .38 Special ammunition, making it versatile for both sport shooting and self-defense or hunting applications.
