Böker Plus Northwood Bowie – strong bushcraft tool for heavy-duty work
The Böker Plus Northwood Bowie was developed by Dave Wenger as a fully-fledged outdoor and chopping knife. With a length of over 44 cm and a robust Bowie blade made of 1095 carbon steel, it is aimed at users who need a reliably durable tool for camping, bushcrafting, or clearing paths in dense undergrowth.
The 27.2 cm long blade features a two-part grind. The rear area with a high grind is suitable for carving, feather sticks, and batoning. The long front bevel shows its strength when chopping, cutting, and clearing paths. The black coating protects the carbon steel from corrosion and reduces light reflections.
The full-tang construction ensures stability all the way to the end of the handle. The screwed Micarta handle scales fit snugly and non-slip in the hand, even in wet or cold conditions. A shape-stable Kydex sheath is included, along with a belt adapter for secure carrying positions.
