With the A-LOCK Mini quick-release thread adapter, the silencer can be attached or removed with just a 60° turn in less than a second. Additionally, the system allows the use of the silencer on multiple weapons with the same caliber but different barrel threads. The very robust design holds tighter and has longer service life than a conventional thread. The A-LOCK Mini adapters are designed to fit most existing thread sizes on the weapon side without any modifications. To prevent accidental loosening, it is recommended to secure the adapter with the addition of a thread locker (Loctite® or similar). Please note that the adapters are not included in the silencer delivery and must be purchased separately. MOUNTING INFO FOR ATTACHING THE A-LOCK MINI THREAD ADAPTERIf you own a silencer with the A-LOCK screw system, it is important to ensure that the A-LOCK Mini adapter is correctly attached to the barrel! We therefore recommend having this done by a gunsmith using the A-LOCK MINI TOOL. Check that the weapon is unloaded and remove the bolt. Degrease/Clean the thread on the A-LOCK Mini adapter as well as on the barrel. Apply a thread locker (Loctite® 638) to the barrel thread. Attach the A-LOCK Mini adapter to the barrel using the A-LOCK MINI TOOL special tool and moderate torque (6-8 Nm) and tighten it. Do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the A-LOCK Mini thread. Remove any excess adhesive. Wait briefly until the adhesive is dry and apply grease to the adapter. Screw the silencer onto the barrel a few times and back off, checking the fit and alignment.
