The VFG adapter made of brass with wood thread is designed for the secure attachment of VFG cleaning felts to the cleaning rod. It is simply screwed onto the cleaning rod and ensures a firm fit of the felt cleaner in the barrel due to its precise thread guidance. Even with repeated back-and-forth movement of the cleaning rod inside the barrel, the felt cleaner remains firmly on the thread – without slipping or coming loose. This prevents felt residues from loosening in the barrel and blocking it. The adapter is specifically designed for calibers 4 – 4.5 mm and chamber brushes and features an internal thread M2.5.
