The Hornady® Rapid Rack™ is a versatile Load Assist Device with an integrated Empty Chamber Indicator. Designed for law enforcement, sport shooters, and all users who want to keep their long gun with a full magazine but a visible empty chamber ready, the Rapid Rack™ allows for quick, safe, and intuitive handling – from the “safe” state to “locked & loaded” instantly. The application is straightforward: the cartridge-shaped Rapid Rack™ is inserted into the unloaded, safe chamber, so that the prominent, colored lever protrudes from the ejection port. After closing the bolt, the lever visually indicates that the chamber is empty. To load, you grasp the lever, pull it straight back, and let the tool drop — the bolt snaps forward and chambers a round from the already inserted magazine. This quick process typically takes less than a second. Made from durable aluminum, the Rapid Rack™ is reusable, lightweight, and resilient. It does not interfere with the normal operation of the firearm and can also be loaded in the conventional manner if needed.
