The slots in the 21 mm extension of the Beretta Optimachoke High Performance Extended Ported Black Edition for caliber .12 ensure an even better shooting comfort.Extended chokes labeled "Ported" feature slots on the extension. These direct a portion of the gas outward, resulting in even lower recoil and minimized muzzle jump.
The Beretta Optimachoke High Performance Extended Ported Black Edition is only compatible with OCHP barrels in caliber .12 – e.g., 686-, 687-, 694-, or DT11 shotguns. If used in an incompatible barrel, damage may occur.

The choke is made of high-performance steel, is highly corrosion-resistant, and provides a tight and even shot pattern. It extends 21 mm beyond the barrel, but due to the black surface of the Black Edition, it does not affect the appearance of the barrel. It is available in sizes IC (1/4), LM (3/8), M (1/2), IM (3/4), LF (7/8), F (1/1), XF (9/8), Cylinder, and Skeet.
