The internal Beretta Optimachoke in caliber .12 is a robust and durable insert for models with corresponding barrels.The Optimachoke from Beretta – here in caliber .12, e.g. for older 686, 687, 682, and DT10 models – is designed exclusively for use in Optimachoke barrels. It is made of steel, highly corrosion-resistant, and flush with the muzzle of the barrel, which does not affect the design of the shotgun.
