The Jaeger EVO from C.G. Haenel is more than just a rifle – it is a symbiosis of precision and ergonomic design that makes the heart of every hunter beat faster. Positioned between the Jaeger 10 and Jaeger NXT models, the Jaeger EVO combines the dynamic Haenel composite stock with the smooth action of a classic repeater. Equipped with the genes of a precision rifle, it offers everything needed for a successful hunt.

A Stock that Sets Standards – Dynamic Grip and Zoom Stock Comb

The ergonomic composite stock of the Jaeger EVO is a masterpiece of functionality. With a height-adjustable zoom stock comb operated by a push button, it allows for the optimal sight line and offers interchangeable stock caps of varying thickness to individually adjust the stock length. The fore-end is perfectly tailored to the anatomy of the gripping hand and adapts to different grip preferences, hand sizes, and arm lengths. Two-component soft-touch surfaces on the pistol grip and fore-end ensure a reliable hold in any weather – for a truly dynamic grip.

Technical Perfection and Unmatched Reliability

The Jaeger EVO combines its outstanding stock with a cylinder lock that features three locking lugs and a short 60-degree opening angle, ensuring a buttery smooth action and enabling quick, safe cycling. The lock of the EVO is borrowed from the precision rifle LR/ONE, thus providing the best conditions for precise shooting.

Maximum safety is ensured by the classic three-position wing safety: Forward – unlocked. Middle position – firing pin secured, the chamber can be opened for loading and unloading. Backward – firing pin secured, chamber blocked. A cocking indicator directly next to the safety lever makes the system status always perceptible – a crucial safety advantage, especially in darkness or when aiming.

The dry-standing direct trigger with a trigger weight of approximately 1,100 g guarantees a clean shot release. The high-strength 5-round detachable magazine made of plastic is additionally secured against loss (10-round magazine available optionally).

An All-Rounder for Every Hunting Situation

The Jaeger EVO is universally applicable and combines conventional hunting from a stand with the option for stalking and driven hunts. The cold-forged barrel from Suhl manufacturing guarantees precision and durability in calibers such as .30-06 Spring., .308 Win., 8x57IS, and .300 Win. Mag.

The integrated Picatinny mounting base offers repeatable, simple, and versatile mounting options for scopes. The muzzle thread (M15x1) also allows for the flexible use of sound suppressors (ideally fitting: the Haenel JGR sound suppressor from B&T) or muzzle brakes, ensuring you are well-equipped for any hunting situation. Additionally, the Jaeger EVO is pre-equipped for the flexible iSight sighting system (accessory).
