CZ457 Synthetic - Threaded Barrel The CZ 457 Synthetic model is designed for the harshest weather conditions and combines an extremely durable surface treatment through nitriding with a robust black polymer stock. Like all other firearms in the 457 series, the Synthetic model utilizes the system of easily interchangeable barrels, allowing for the modification of the length, profile, and caliber of the barrel in just a few minutes. The ergonomically refined stock shape of the 457 Synthetic model is derived from the popular bolt-action rifle 557 and is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. The soft rubber butt pad increases comfort, and the Soft-Touch surface provides a secure grip. Another advantage of this stock is a significant weight reduction, making the entire firearm weigh only 2.4 kg! The Synthetic model is equipped with a cold-hammered barrel with a 1/2x20 UNF thread at the muzzle and can be delivered in calibers .22 LR, .17 HMR, or .22 WMR with a 20" barrel or with a shorter, stiffer 16" barrel in .22 LR caliber. Like all our rimfire rifles, the 457 model can be equipped with an 11 mm dovetail rail machined into the top of the receiver for mounting optics.
