The thermal imaging monocular Hikmicro Lynx LH15 3.0 is the version with a 15-mm lens, featuring the larger 320x240-px sensor.Hikmicro has optimized the performance, ergonomically improved the design, and made it more compact in the 3rd generation of its thermal imaging monoculars in the Lynx series, as well as implemented its latest image algorithm. The Lynx LH15 3.0 has a balanced field of view and detection range, with a larger sensor compared to the LE15.
The extremely compact thermal imaging monocular Lynx LH15 3.0 can always be carried ready to hand in any pants or jacket pocket while hunting. It features a VOx 12-μm sensor produced by Hikmicro itself, with a resolution of 320x240 px and a NETD value of ≤18 mK. This allows it to accurately identify temperature differences. In combination with the 15-mm lens, an F/1.0 aperture, and the AI-supported Image Pro 3.0 algorithm, it delivers clear and high-contrast images.
The Lynx LH15 3.0 has an 8x zoom and a magnification range of 2.2-17.6x. The field of view is 20.5x15.4 m at 100 m, providing a good overview, with a detection range of 750 m. The 39-inch display has a size of 1024x768 px and features the practical picture-in-picture function. The intuitive menu is hierarchically arranged and can be customized to quickly access frequently used functions. Depending on the viewing conditions and personal preferences, users can choose between the color tones Cold and Warm, as well as the modes Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome, and Green Monochrome. The Shutterless Image System (HSIS) prevents image freezing.
The integrated 64-GB memory provides ample space for snapshots and video clips with sound. Recorded files can be transferred to a PC or mobile device via USB. The integrated hotspot module allows a connection to the Hikmicro Sight app on a smartphone, turning it into a second display and remote control via WiFi.
The monocular is ergonomically perfectly designed with its optimized cylindrical shape. The operation is user-friendly with its raised elements. The robust magnesium housing meets the IP67 protection class and is shock and water-resistant. The climatic operating range extends from -30 to 55 °C. The removable battery can be charged in the monocular and in the included charger. An automatic standby mode saves energy by turning off the display when tilted horizontally by 75° and at an angle of 70°.
