After a long wait for deliveries, we can now finally confirm this. The MARLIN 1894 in the powerful caliber .44 Magnum presents itself as solid and seemingly indestructible, featuring a strong stainless steel finish with a wonderful laminated stock. The side ejection port allows for the factory-installed long Picatinny rail, and the large loop makes cycling the action a pleasure. With a muzzle thread, the firearm is also well-prepared for the use of an on-barrel suppressor. In summary, this is a weapon that is equally suitable for hunting as it is for sport shooting. Strong loads of the .44 Magnum caliber achieve well over 2000 joules of energy from the 16.5” barrel!
