Bergmann 9mm Bergmann

The Bergmann repeater 9mm was developed by the German designer Theodor Bergmann, a pioneer in the development of automatic weapons. The weapon is part of a series of pistols and rifles marketed under the name "Bergmann," with various models featuring both repeater and self-loading functions.

Special features:
The combination of repeater system and pistol caliber was unusual and resembled more of a transitional model between revolvers and modern self-loading pistols.
Use of the then-novel 9×23mm Bergmann cartridge, which was more powerful than many contemporary revolver calibers.
Mechanically solid, but soon technically surpassed by self-loading pistols (e.g., Luger, Mauser C96).
Bergmann later also developed self-loading pistols in the same caliber, such as the Bergmann-Bayard M1903/M1910 model, which was used by Denmark and Spain.
