The surfaces of the housing are effectively protected against corrosion by plasma nitriding. The manual safety has been further developed. With a light thumb pressure, the rifle can be cocked immediately before the shot, and it is just as easy to release to unload. The Quattro trigger with four weight settings ensures that the trigger is crisp and that you have the exact trigger weight that suits you. You can individually adjust the trigger to 350, 750, 1,000, or 1,250 g as needed. The adjustment is simple with the fore-end pulled back using the Sauer universal key. Depending on your choice, the bolt is designed for the caliber groups Mini, Standard, or Magnum. The magazine has a plastic base and holds 2, 3, or 5 rounds.The BarrelAs mentioned, heavy contour barrels are approximately 300 g heavier than standard barrels. This makes the repeater front-heavy and ensures better oscillation behavior. Additionally, the inherent precision of the barrel increases, and the recoil of the repeating rifle is lower. The barrels, made from a specially developed steel, are plasma nitrided and thus have a hardened coating of 0.1 mm thickness. Inside, there remains a soft steel core. This results in each barrel oscillating optimally and shooting very precisely. To protect against corrosion, the barrels are blued.
