The Thunder TQ35CL 3.0 with its large field of view not only delivers excellent thermal images but also the exact distance.Hikmicro has now equipped the 35 version of its Thunder 3.0 thermal imaging attachment with a laser rangefinder, following the Thunder TQ50CL 3.0: the Thunder TQ35CL 3.0. This version with the 35 mm lens is the choice for all hunters who prioritize a larger field of view over detection range.In the 3.0 version of the Thunder, several improvements have been made compared to the predecessor model, including:the NETD value improved from ≤20 mK to ≤15 mK,the Image Pro algorithm updated to version 3.0,the display enlarged to 0.49‘‘ (1,920x1080 px),installed a shutterless image system and an image stabilization system, andreplaced the fixed battery with a rechargeable one.

Image QualityThe highly sensitive thermal imaging sensor of the Thunder TQ35CL was developed in-house by Hikmicro. It has a resolution of 640x512 px, a pixel pitch of 12 µm, and a NETD value of ≤15 mK. This allows for the detection of the smallest thermal differences between the game and its surroundings, regardless of weather and lighting conditions. The HikMicro algorithm of version 2.0 processes the data into clear and high-contrast images, which can be viewed in 6 color modes on the enlarged 1,920×1,080 px OLED display:

Green monochrome.A recoil-activated video recording ensures that every shot is documented. The display features a picture-in-picture (PiP) function, allowing you to maintain an overview while still examining details. A local album allows you to view images and videos directly on the device without the risk of scaring off game at night with the bright display of a smartphone. The Thunder TQ35CL is also equipped with an inclination sensor. The detection range is 1,800 m, the identification range is 550 m, and the large field of view at 100 m is 21.9x14.0 m.The Laser RangefinderThe integrated laser rangefinder of the Thunder TQ35CL 3.0 is a Class 1 laser with a wavelength of 905 nm and a range of 1,000 m. It measures with an accuracy of ±1 m. The minimum measurement range is only 10 m.User-friendly, robust, and recoil-resistantThe housing of the Thunder TQ35CL attachment is made of a magnesium alloy. It is recoil-resistant and waterproof according to protection class IP67. The operation is intuitive and can be managed even in darkness via the top buttons and the focus knob. You can use the attachment at up to 90% humidity and at temperatures from -30 °C to 55 °C. Its design, with a uniform weight distribution of 525 g including the battery, does not affect the balance of the rifle.
