The Blaser R8 Success Silence repeating rifle in a complete package with a scope of your choice.“Success” in the R8 family from Blaser stands for the ergonomically and haptically optimal hole stock – in this version made of wood, optionally from stock wood class 4 or 7. “Silence” indicates that the barrel of the rifle is equipped with an integral silencer. The Stock
The hole stock of the R8 Success Silence is made of wood, optionally in stock wood class 4 or 7. Its excellent design with the thumb hole and pistol grip ensures comfortable positioning, aiming, and shooting in every shooting position. The shooting hand remains completely relaxed. The checkered texture on the grip surfaces feels pleasant in the hands. The rubber butt plate noticeably reduces recoil. The forend is designed for a barrel with an integral silencer, its end is made of black ebony.

The System
The hand tensioning system of the R8 Success Silence guarantees maximum safety through the relaxation of the firing pin spring. The tensioning occurs only immediately before the shot by pushing the tensioning slider forward. The quickly reloadable straight-pull repeating system is made of dural, and the system housing in a matte black finish is adorned with an R8 inscription. You can choose between the caliber groups standard and magnum with the corresponding R8 action. The dry-standing direct trigger has a trigger weight of 750 g.

The Barrel with Integral Silencer
The mass of the integral silencer of the R8 Success Silence is evenly distributed over the entire barrel length. This gives the rifle its excellent balance. The outer contour of the barrel and silencer jacket is made of titanium and designed in a continuously tapered bull-barrel design. The titanium muzzle brake directs a portion of the powder gases in an orderly manner and ensures a good attachment of the silencer to the muzzle thread, allowing the projectile to pass unobstructed. The construction of the Blaser integral silencer provides its entire length as an expansion chamber for the powder gases. The inner tube seals the expansion chamber inward, protecting the barrel from powder residues and deposits. Depending on the caliber, the barrel has a length of 42, 47, or 52 cm.

Mounting and Optics
The scope is mounted on the rifle using an original Blaser saddle mount. You can choose from the following models:

The construction avoids the use of plastic parts in heavily stressed areas.Leica Magnus 1.8-12x50i with rail: The compact dimensions and the 50 mm objective ensure maximum flexibility. The scope has an L-4a reticle.Blaser B1 2.8-20x50 iC with rail and reticle Hunt Pro illuminated: Thanks to the Illumination Control, the illuminated dot is automatically activated when pushing the tensioning slider of the R8.Blaser B1 4-20x58 iC with rail, reticle Hunt Pro illuminated and Illumination Control: The objective diameter of 58 mm ensures detail recognition and the 20x magnification allows for safe identification at long distances.
