Walther PDP Full Size 5" - Cal. 9mm Luger

Walther PDP Full Size 5" - Cal. 9mm Luger PDP Maximal! Five inches barrel length and full-size grip. There has never been more Walther! With 18 rounds in the magazine and a five-inch barrel length, it is tuned for uncompromising performance. Also here, typical PDP: the low sight line for quick target acquisition. The very low-profile sighting system in a 3-dot design supports the shooting behavior and intuitively guides the PDP to the target. Performance. Duty. Pistol. Our service pistols are relied upon by forces worldwide. With passion, they risk their lives for our society. Trusting in their team and the performance of their Walther. With passion, we build the most powerful pistol. For reliable use under all conditions. Highlights include the outstanding performance-duty trigger and unique ergonomics.

Performance-Duty-Trigger
Best in Class characteristics: Breaks at the pressure point like glass at 25 N. A prerequisite for controlled hitting.

Outstanding safety: Perfected duty pressure point. Safe trigger control in every situation.

Short reset: Consistent top performance. From shot to shot.

Ergonomics and intuitive target acquisition
Top pointability - excellent shooting behavior: The PDP intuitively follows the central vision of the target eye. Perfected grip angle and perfect harmony of overall weight, weight distribution, and balance.

Optimal grip through Performance Duty Texture: Outstanding grip under all conditions. With gloves or without. The PDP fits perfectly in the hand. The tetrahedral structure of the Performance Duty Texture is the result of a long series of intensive development and testing, in the field, under various weather conditions as well as at the shooting range.

SuperTerrain Serrations
Raised grip grooves at the front and rear of the slide: Everything is under control in every situation. With red dot sight or open sights. In any weather, with gloves or without.

The arrangement of the controls is typically user-oriented for Walther: The target is at the center of attention. The operation of the pistol is intuitive.

Optics Ready
Every PDP is made for red dot sights. Deeply integrated into the slide, the excellent shooting behavior of the PDP can be fully utilized. The simultaneous use of co-witness sights is possible. This allows the dot of the optical sight to be quickly and unconsciously acquired. Thanks to the special shaping of the slide, red dots can be integrated almost seamlessly. Additionally, the special shaping at the end of the grip provides support for the little finger and aids in instinctively pointing the weapon like an invisible guide.

Modularity
The PDP is the most modular and versatile pistol that Walther has ever built: Picatinny rail, optics ready, side-swappable magazine holder, three barrel lengths, and two grip lengths with three backstraps each. This makes it perfectly prepared for any service use. The open sighting system of the PDP uses common mounting dimensions. When it comes to choosing sights, the accessory market offers almost limitless possibilities. With a magazine funnel, the Performance Duty Pistol becomes a performance athlete.

Reliability
In the stepped chamber, the case is reliably guided. This allows the PDP to extract more muzzle energy from the ammunition and reduces residue in the weapon. Thus, the PDP shoots better for longer. PDP: Made to be shot!

Safety features
The loaded chamber indicator on the extractor signals whether a round is in the chamber. In addition, trigger, firing pin, and drop safety (interrupter) provide even more safety.
