The Rangemaster weighs less than 200 g.Easy OperationThe operation of the Rangemaster CRF MAX is simple and intuitive, designed for one-handed aiming and measuring in a single motion. There are only two tactile buttons, which are sensibly assigned to the necessary functions. The Rangemaster feels pleasant to hold, and with a press of the measurement button, you get precise values – in all situations, whether you operate the device with your left or right hand.The Graphic Display and Target Logic ModesNew to the MAX version is the bright active matrix micro-LED display. It is flexible and individually programmable, and it also features enhanced functions. New are the three target modes: "First," "Best," and "Last." The measurements help distinguish the targeted object from its immediate surroundings.The RangefinderThe CRF MAX also impresses with its fast reaction time: in less than 0.3 s – in extended range mode in 1.2 s – you have the exact measurement result, which can be crucial in hunting. The LRF has "Scan" and "Single Measurement" functions. Additionally, you can display the actual measured distance or the equivalent horizontal range (EHR), which is particularly advantageous when hunting in the mountains; in the latter mode, the deviation of the impact point due to angled shots is taken into account. The CRF MAX provides precise distance readings up to 3,400 m.The OpticsThe high-quality Leica optics enable efficient stray light and reflection reduction. You receive contrast-rich, detailed, sharp, and color-accurate images, even in twilight. It has a wide field of view of 115 m at 1000 m.Material and FinishAs with all optical instruments from Leica, all surfaces of the optics have received a High Durable Coating and AquaDura treatment. The prism system is a roof prism system with phase-correction coating P40. The power supply is provided by a 3 V lithium type CR2 battery, which lasts for up to 1,700 measurements when Bluetooth is turned off. To save energy, individual functions can be deactivated when not needed. The Rangemaster is waterproof up to 1 m depth, and its housing is made of fiberglass-reinforced plastic.ConnectivityThe Rangemaster communicates via Bluetooth with the Leica Ballistic app on your mobile device.
