The Weatherby Vanguard Barreled SHORT ACTION SYSTEM is a quality production from Japan with an excellent price-performance ratio. The heavy barrel offers outstanding shooting behavior; the slightly increased weight compared to slimmer barrels ensures stable aiming and a steady weapon during firing. The Weatherby Vanguard models have been manufactured by Howa in Japan since 1970 and are based on the well-known Howa 1500, with final assembly taking place at Weatherby in Wyoming. All Vanguards feature a 3-position safety and an adjustable two-stage trigger.
