The repeating rifle Haenel Jaeger NXT with composite stock as a true left-hand version is a straight-pull repeater with a manual cocking mechanism designed for tough hunting use. Thanks to its composite construction, the weapon features exceptional qualities such as ergonomics. The zoom stock comb can be quickly and easily adjusted in height using a button, which is positioned so that even in the shooting position, a precise adjustment of the sight line is possible. Additionally, interchangeable stock caps serve to balance the stock length and allow for tool-free adjustment to the individual needs of the shooter. Furthermore, the Jaeger NXT Composite is equipped with soft-touch inserts that are extra grippy and withstand any weather conditions. The new forend geometry also ensures that the weapon is easy to grip and mount. Equipped with a milled Picatinny rail, an optic can also be mounted easily and with repeatable accuracy. Moreover, the i-Sight sighting system offers two options for hunting use: with or without sights. Without sights, the muzzle can be utilized with an M15x1 thread for the use of a suppressor or muzzle brake. This version also includes a straight-pull torsion lock that impresses with its brilliant ergonomics. The kickdown chamber handle moves the cylinder linearly while simultaneously rotating and locking the bolt in the barrel. In the final step, the chamber handle applies tension to the system in the front third of the pivot area, thus establishing readiness to fire. For safety, there is a chamber lock that can be selected via a slider between three positions: - safe unloading position, where the system is relaxed (left) - red firing position (in the middle) - safety position, which blocks the chamber handle (right) Composite approaches the stock The 'stock fitting' is done by the shooter themselves, occurring in several steps. The stock length is optimized before the hunt. Depending on arm length or clothing thickness, optionally available stock caps can be used without tools, allowing the stock to be shortened by 7 millimeters or lengthened by 5 millimeters. The second step is the adjustment of the dynamic stock comb to the sight line. This is done during the hunt at the push of a button, tailored to the riflescope, the driven hunt scope, or for tracking with open sights. The adjustment is simple and quick via fingertip pressure on a button. This solution allows for height adjustment even while looking through the target axis. The button on the right side releases the locking mechanism, and the stock is extended with spring assistance. Forend for a good grip A grip groove for the fingers, combined with injected soft-touch inserts for the palms and a conical forend design, provides an individual and secure grip. No matter where the shooter intuitively grips, the forend offers optimal support for all hand sizes. In the lower area, the stock material has been additionally reinforced to allow for a system-open extension, e.g., for a bipod adapter or Picatinny rails. Different mounts can be securely screwed in here. Pistol grip optimized for kickdown chamber handle The stock, with its steep pistol grip, is optimally tuned to the kickdown chamber handle of the Jaeger NXT. In the torsion lock developed for this weapon, this control element plays a central role, as it serves as both the manual cocking mechanism and the chamber handle for repeating.
