Product description:
Only when both eyes are open while shooting does the shooter have the entire shooting field in view. Ideal when the optics provide the target eye with the exact same image impression that the other eye perceives. The Blaser 1-7x28 iC offers this advantage thanks to its true 1x starting magnification - for optimal overview and quick target acquisition. The generously sized 90 mm eye relief significantly reduces the risk of recoil-related injuries with large-caliber rifles.
Precision in detail - The reticle revolution
Reticle position in the first image plane, fine reticle with low target coverage even at high magnification and daytime illuminated dot, which can be adjusted to the most extreme lighting conditions:
From winter hunting during the day to hunting boars at night. Swiss technology has made this possible.
Strong, obstructive reticle bars in the high magnification range have previously posed a disadvantage of reticle positioning in the first image plane. Thanks to innovative Swiss phase grating technology, Blaser riflescopes have succeeded in achieving a low coverage of the reticle even at high magnifications. In combination with the adjustable illuminated dot for various visibility conditions, this results in a combination that promotes precise hitting under all hunting conditions.
iC Illumination Control - Focus on the essentials
If the Blaser R8 repeating rifle is equipped with an iC cocking slider, the illuminated dot of all Blaser riflescope models is automatically activated when the cocking slider is pushed into the fire-ready position (older Blaser R8 models can be easily retrofitted with an iC cocking slider).
A sensor in the riflescope detects the position of the cocking slider and automatically controls the switching on and off of the illuminated dot. To prepare for the shot, only a single hand movement is required: unlocking (cocking the bolt) the weapon. The intensity of the illuminated dot always corresponds to the last set strength. Its adjustment is conveniently done via the adjustment wheel located on the right side of the riflescope.
Thanks to this perfect interplay of rifle and riflescope, one gains time and thus the necessary calm for a safe shot. When using Blaser riflescopes on rifles without an iC cocking slider, the illuminated dot is manually activated by pulling out the adjustment wheel on the right side.
To achieve the longest possible battery life, the illuminated dot automatically switches off as soon as the weapon is placed in a very steep to vertical or sideways position. When the weapon is taken back into position, the illuminated dot activates automatically.
IVD - automatically activating illuminated dot
The model 1-7x28 iC has a particularly sensible feature for hunting practice: In the magnification range from 1x to 4x, a second, larger illuminated dot (Intelligent Variable Dot) is automatically activated. It provides for even easier, intuitive target acquisition, making the shot on fleeing game significantly easier. Of course, the brightness of the IVD can be adjusted to all visibility conditions using the quickly and easily operable adjustment wheel.
In the magnification range from 4x to 7x, a fine illuminated dot is automatically available for precise shots at greater distances. Its brightness can also be adjusted using the adjustment wheel. Whether in bright sunlight, snow, or deep twilight – when game comes into view, target acquisition occurs intuitively.
Function and design - Rifle and riflescope - the perfect unit
The Blaser riflescopes were designed by hunters from practical hunting experience. Thanks to the thoughtful arrangement and intuitive operation of all functional elements, the hunter's concentration remains solely on the safe shot. Their unmistakable design gives the rifle and riflescope a perfectly finished overall appearance.
Thoughtful function - The very flat adjustment turret for the reticle side adjustment has been deliberately positioned on the left side of the riflescope body. The higher adjustment turret with adjustment wheels for parallax compensation and illuminated dot intensity is located on the right side for convenient accessibility.
For right-handed shooters (over 85% of all hunters), this means significantly better visibility past the left side of the riflescope. Especially when shooting at moving game, where it is generally advisable to keep both eyes open, this is a significant advantage regarding optimal visibility of the entire shooting field.
Unique design - The flowing silhouette of the Blaser riflescopes allows the rifle and target optics to merge into a perfect unit. All control elements are equipped with a grippy rubber coating in a characteristic fish skin texture, whose color harmonizes particularly well with hunting rifles.
Made for rough use - The robust housings of the Blaser riflescopes are coated with durable hard anodizing, making them insensitive to external influences. For greater stability in case of a fall or drop and for intuitive operation, the adjustment wheel for the illuminated dot intensity has been deliberately not placed at the top in the ocular area, but in a compact unit with the adjustment wheel for parallax compensation on the right side. Both control elements are made of sturdy metal and feature a vulcanized rubber coating in a grippy fish skin design.
