The Glock 45 MOS FS SD in caliber 9 mm Luger combines the large grip of the G17 with the short slide of the G19.

The barrel of the G45 has been revised to achieve even higher precision potential. The new Glock Marksman Barrel profiles were developed as part of the tender for the US Army and feature an advanced polygonal barrel profile. The new deep black nDLC finish is significantly more resistant to corrosion and scratches. The sights have also been improved and equipped with a significantly larger light gap for the rear and front sights. This results in a better sight picture, especially in adverse visibility conditions.

The front serrations make it easier to chamber a round or check the readiness status quickly and practically from the front.

The grip is based on the new ergonomic design of the Gen5 - without finger grooves. This provides better handling for the shooter, eliminating the constraint of hand size imposed by the width of the finger grooves. The large full-size frame of the Glock 45, inherited from the G17, has a high magazine capacity. The revised GEN5 magazine well features an internal magazine funnel, with the grip slightly flared outward. This makes reloading significantly easier and faster. Even in poor lighting conditions, the orange follower in the empty magazine is immediately visible. Other innovations include a smoother trigger pull and the ambidextrous slide stop lever, which allows the pistol to be operated equally well from the left and right.

The MBS Modular Back Strap grip offers a significant advantage: The circumference of the grip can be adjusted to the individual hand size of the shooter using the included back straps. The magazine holder has a larger contact area and is interchangeable. Additionally, the GLOCK Gen5 pistol models, like the Gen4 models, feature the proven textured RTF surface on the grip and back strap.

The M13.5x1 muzzle thread allows for the attachment of practical accessories.
