Experts from police, military, and professional security services describe the TA30 as the only truly tactical flashlight. The first generation TA30 already had impressive 1,100 ANSI lumens, which were soon enhanced to a stronger 1,300 ANSI lumens thanks to new LEDs and technology. This LED flashlight is a true global success. Now, NEXTORCH could have simply rested on this great success, but that does not fit this innovative company. The lead is continuously expanded at NEXTORCH and gladly passed on to users immediately. As a logical consequence, the new TA30C can now provide convincing safety in the field. What’s new about the TA30C? The most important feature has remained with the new TA30C: the uncompromisingly simple and stress-safe operating concept with the patented ring switch and the instant light that only shines as long as it is pressed. The instant strobe flash with increased thumb pressure has also remained. For the continuous light function, the NEXTORCH TA30C has the ring switch, through which this tactical flashlight can be easily dimmed, for example, to be used as a reading light during document checks. Instead of the 1,300 ANSI lumens, there are now true, tested 1,600 ANSI lumens available. The runtime at the highest brightness level is an impressive 2.5 hours. When dimmed to the lowest level, there are even 50 hours of light with one battery charge. The included 18650 battery now features a USB-C charging port, making charging even faster, and no special charger is needed; a phone charger, a power bank, or the USB port in the car is sufficient. An LED built into the battery indicates when the battery is fully charged. If there is no way to charge the TA30C battery, two CR123 batteries can also be easily used. Another new feature, at the special request of many special units, is a battery status indicator for the TA30C. Once again typical of NEXTORCH: the development of this function took place exclusively in practice. When the ring switch of the new NEXTORCH TA30C is operated, a faintly glowing blue ring in the tail switch reliably informs about the battery status. The faint blue glow only briefly lights up after the ring switch has been activated. The glass breaker at the front of the lens crown of the TA30, often copied by many flashlight manufacturers, has also remained, but here too, a change was made to meet the requirements of the operational forces: instead of highly polished stainless steel, which can lead to unwanted reflections and thus to the revelation of the opposing side, the lens crown of the TA30C is now made of high-strength, gray titanium and is permanently matte. A sensible and valuable improvement, therefore. The strobe function has also been optimized. Instead of flashing at only one frequency, the TA30C changes the flash frequency while it is activated. As many attempts impressively demonstrate, the changing flash frequency significantly enhances the desired effect of disorientation on the opponent. This state occurs almost instantaneously in attackers, as the rapid succession of light and dark overwhelms the human brain. This is especially true for perpetrators under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, as numerous operational reports confirm.
