CZ Pattern 70

The CZ Vz. 70 is a semi-automatic service pistol of Czechoslovak origin, developed as the successor to the CZ Vz. 50. It is largely based on the proven design of its predecessor but features some ergonomic and functional improvements. The weapon was primarily used by police and security services in the former Czechoslovakia.

Safety features: The CZ Vz. 70 has a manual safety that also functions as a decocking lever, as well as an internal hammer.
Grip panels: Typically made of black plastic, with coarse checkering for better handling.
Finish: The early models often have a polished, blued surface. Later variants feature matte finishes.
Recoil principle: The pistol operates with a simple mass lock, typical for many pistols of this caliber.
