The Haix BW combat boots heavy – Commander GTX (model 2018) is the current operational model of the Bundeswehr and is gradually replacing the 2007 model. The full leather boot, developed exclusively for the troops, stands for maximum robustness, insulation, waterproofing, and breathability – now also available in various used conditions. The oiled, hydrophobized nubuck leather (2.6–2.8 mm) offers optimal protection in all weather conditions in combination with the 4-layer GORE-TEX® Performance membrane. The abrasion-resistant inner lining with fleece layer ensures high climate comfort throughout all seasons. The moisture-absorbing insole, the HAIX® Climate System with Micro-Dry lining, and AIRFLOW channels enable a balanced foot climate even during long marches. The slip-resistant rubber/PU sole with terrain profile is oil and gasoline resistant, non-chalking, and cold-insulating. The 2-zone lacing system with Comfort Tongue allows for individual adjustment in the foot and shaft area. With shock-absorbing insole, reinforced heel cup, closed lacing, and rubber rand at the toe and heel, this shoe is ideal for tactical operations, trekking, hunting, or mountain tours.
