The tactical Boonie Hat of the Austrian Armed Forces is the consistent further development of the previous field cap for demanding operations in the terrain. Designed for the combat uniform 03 and the new camouflage uniform, this classic military hat with a wide brim provides effective protection against sun and rain – especially during prolonged stays outdoors or under strong UV radiation. The material combination of 50% cotton and 50% polyester is robust, quick-drying, and comfortable to wear – even during intense movement. Ventilation eyelets promote air circulation and prevent heat buildup. The adjustable chin strap keeps the hat securely on the head – even in strong winds, in the forest, or in rough terrain. A surrounding camouflage loop band allows for adaptation to the respective environment through additional vegetation. The hat is colored in RAL7013 (Army Grey) and thus perfectly matches the regular uniform. Variants in the new camouflage pattern are already on the way. This Tactical Hat can be compactly folded and conveniently stored in any bag. Ideal for operational forces, bushcrafters, outdoor tours, or daily duty. Production mainly takes place in Austria, involving EU partners.
