The original Bundeswehr KSK Thermo mat Synmat 9 LW from Exped was developed for the Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK) and offers reliable protection against cold and moisture during outdoor, camping, and trekking operations. Thanks to the integrated air pump, the mat can be inflated quickly and hygienically – without moisture inside. The microfiber chambers filled with thermal fleece provide excellent insulation down to about -20 °C and reliably keep ground cold at bay. The thoughtful design with stable air chambers guarantees high lying comfort even on uneven surfaces. Air can be released effortlessly through the deflation valve or the release cap. The mat can be rolled up compactly and stored in the stuff sack – ideal for demanding outdoor use.
