The Swiss long rifle G96-11 was introduced in 1896 as standard armament for the Swiss Army. The Swiss Army was the first army to standardize straight-pull repeaters. With the decision to adopt this weapon, it is undeniable that Switzerland was technically ahead of its neighboring countries in the field of military repeaters by several decades. Although the G96-11 long rifles were never used in a military conflict, Swiss rifles and carbines are known for their very good precision and shooting performance.

The present rifle comes from the depot stocks of the Swiss Army and was selected on-site. The rifle has a valid proof mark and is completely matching with a matching bayonet. The weapon has not been refurbished but is in its original condition; accordingly, the condition of the weapon is very good. Additionally, you will receive a muzzle protector and a sling.
