The scopes of the MeoHunter R5 series offer an almost unbeatable ratio of price, build quality, and optical properties. This includes, among other things, 5x zoom, a wide field of view, and parallax adjustment from 10 meters. Special attention was paid to the extended use with night vision or thermal imaging attachments during the development of the scope series. Therefore, the scopes are particularly lightweight and compact.
The Meopta MeoHunter R5 3-15×50 SFP RD is available with both the classic hunting reticle 4C and the reticle BDC 3. Both reticles are illuminated and are located in the 2nd focal plane.
Robust and nitrogen-filled
The tube of the Meopta MeoHunter R5 3-15×50 SFP RD is made from a high-strength aluminum alloy, just like all other Meopta scopes. The anodized surface is extremely scratch-resistant and withstands even the harshest conditions. Of course, the scope is nitrogen-filled, which prevents internal fogging of the lenses during significant temperature fluctuations.
High-quality coating for lens protection
The special water-repellent coating Meodrop repels water, dust, and grease from the surface of the optical elements, ensuring a clear, brilliant image. It is based on the lotus effect. The specific microscopic layer ensures that unwanted dust or water particles do not adhere to the glass surface and easily bead off. Optical elements coated with MeoDrop are easy to clean without streaks.
The ion-assisted vapor-deposited protective layer Meoshield reliably maintains the outer lens surfaces. It effectively protects the optics against scratches and mechanical stress under extreme conditions. Meoshield meets MIL specifications for durability and surface hardness.
