The lever is precisely adapted to the rotating ring. If it does not fit properly, it will not be able to be screwed on. The rotating ring of the Leica Calonox is conical. Therefore, the lever must sit all the way back on the rotating ring (see photos). It directly adapts to the profile to prevent the quick adjustment lever from slipping forward.
