Why do I need a care fluid with Teflon?
After all, it is a gun cleaner and preservative in one. A saying goes: “If something is for everything, it is for … nothing.”
The remover is used to remove dirt and degrease the weapon. If you put the weapon in the cabinet after cleaning, you will be surprised after some time – your equipment is red like a squirrel, and removing rust is very time-consuming.
After the remover, a care and repair fluid is applied.
Riflecx is one of the few manufacturers worldwide that uses original Teflon® from DuPont and no Chinese substitutes. This way, your weapon is protected with a high-quality product and safeguarded against rust.
If you need to put the weapon in the cabinet, spray it with the Riflecx care and repair fluid and let it sit until the moisture evaporates. This creates a Teflon layer that acts as corrosion protection.
When carrying the weapon, gently wipe it after applying the fluid. The protective layer remains intact, and your weapon shines as if it just came off the store shelf.
Real Teflon increases abrasion resistance, is acid and alkali resistant, and protects your weapon from frost.
Application:
Apply the preparation to all parts of the weapon. Excess fluid can be removed with a cloth or compressed air.
The Teflon® layer optimally protects metal and plastic parts from wear. The Teflon® coating is abrasion-resistant – Teflon® has an extremely low coefficient of friction. The formulation provides corrosion protection and protects against frost, water exposure, acids, and alkalis.
Properties:
Original Teflon from DuPont.
Resistant to high temperatures. Very low surface energy. Very high lubricating properties. Prevents dirt adhesion.
Does not react with other chemicals, solvent resistant. Protects components from wear and molds from slow dimensional changes. High thermal conductivity – contributes to rapid heat dissipation. Protects against negative UV influences. Non-toxic, protects against fungal infestation, including mold. Protects against aggressive chemicals, e.g., when washing with unsuitable cleaning agents. Hydrolysis resistant – prevents the formation of new compounds on the surface. Safe for the user's body – physiologically harmless. At low temperatures, it has high impact toughness, meaning the steel is crack-resistant.
Protects against rust formation – high concentration of corrosion inhibitors.
Capillary action – the product penetrates against gravity and at a 90-degree angle into the elements. Capacity: 500 ml.
Closure with tube for precise application. Works in any position of the can.
