An integrated rail in front of the trigger guard allows for the mounting of accessories such as lights and lasers. The slide stop lever holds the slide in the rear position after firing the last round in the magazine, and a visible and tactile indicator shows whether a round is in the chamber. In the Safe Action system, the three safeties – trigger, firing pin, and drop safety – disengage sequentially when the trigger is pulled and automatically re-engage when released. The trigger travel is reduced compared to other Glock models, but the grip angle corresponds to that of the larger Glock pistols. The Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) is designed for optimal precision in the proven polygonal barrel design.ErgonomicsThe magazine holder of the G43X can be mounted on the left or right side of the pistol, allowing for secure and comfortable handling for both left- and right-handed users. The finger grooves on the slide, which are also located at the front, provide a good grip even when wet and with gloves. The use of the red dot sight is intuitive, as aiming is done similarly to using iron sights. A large field of view with a narrow frame provides a good overview. The optics are completely sealed against environmental influences and dirt, and they are waterproof up to 25 meters deep. The red dot sight features 12 brightness settings: 1-4 for nighttime use, 5-12 for daylight use. Elevation and windage adjustments are simple and straightforward with audible clicks using a T10 Torx.
