The Stock
The Mauser 18 Extreme features a one-piece polymer stock in the color Natural Stone. Polymer is an extremely durable plastic. The steep pistol grip is ergonomically designed to keep the shooting hand relaxed at all times. It and the forend are equipped with tactile soft grip inlays in black, which ensure a secure grip even in wet weather and while wearing gloves. A special feature is the storage compartment in the buttstock, which is closed with a removable butt plate that can be taken off without tools.

The Action
The action housing of the Mauser 18 Extreme is coated with a durable and extremely hard tungsten Cerakote finish, protecting it from corrosion. A three-lug locking mechanism ensures secure handling, as does the silently operable three-position trigger safety. The direct trigger, which stands dry, is infinitely adjustable between 1,000 g and 2,000 g trigger weight. The removable magazine has a capacity of 5 rounds.

The Barrel
The precision barrel of the Mauser M 18 Extreme also features a tungsten Cerakote finish. It is made of cold-forged steel and is fluted. This offers the advantage that the increased surface area of the barrel due to the fluting dissipates heat more quickly, minimizing the disruptive heat shimmer even during rapid fire sequences. Another advantage of the fluting is weight reduction. The muzzle diameter of the barrel is 19 mm, it has an M15x1 muzzle thread, and its length for this standard caliber version is 51 cm.
