Heckler&Koch HK SLB MR223, A3 version, Slim-Line HKey

The MR223 A3 combines the world-renowned AR-15 architecture with the unique reliability of the G36 gas piston system. The A3 version is fully ambidextrous and features a revised magazine well according to NATO-STANAG-4179 (DRAFT).
The MR223 is a semi-automatic self-loading rifle in .223 Remington caliber. It is the civilian version of the HK416, which is in service with numerous regular and specialized military and police forces. The MR223 matches the quality of the HK416 and meets nearly all the requirements of its military counterpart. As an indirect gas piston loader, the MR223 operates with the proven and reliable drive system of the G36. Unlike directly driven AR systems, the system housing of the MR223 remains almost clean while shooting. Thus, the MR223 continues to function smoothly even when other self-loading rifles have already malfunctioned and ceased operation.
